Curatone.art is proud to present “Colors 2026,” an international juried exhibition bringing together artists from 27 countries. The exhibition explores color in its many roles: as a carrier of emotion, a cultural symbol, a compositional force, and a language capable of communicating beyond words.
The selected works reveal a wide range of approaches to color, from vivid contrasts and expressive palettes to restrained tonal studies and subtle chromatic relationships. Together, they demonstrate how artists working across different media, traditions, and cultural contexts use color to shape atmosphere, memory, identity, and meaning.
The Selection Process
“Colors 2026” received 485 submitted artworks, making it one of Curatone.art’s most competitive international calls to date. Each work was evaluated independently by an international jury of artists, designers, and creative professionals according to the published criteria of originality, technique, composition, and interpretation of the theme.
Following the jury’s evaluation, 79 works were selected as finalists, representing a selection rate of 16.3%.
The selected artists represent 27 countries, creating a truly global dialogue: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Finland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Israel, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and South Africa.
Grand Prize Winner
The Grand Prize is awarded to Isabella Zhang for her artwork Echoes in Every Stitch, which received the highest overall evaluation from the jury.

Curatone.art is an independent international curatorial institution based in Berlin and the publisher of the registered Curatone Art & Research Journal (ISSN 3054-6621). All finalists receive official documentation confirming their selection and participation in the international juried exhibition.
Awarded the highest score of the competition by decision of the jury. The work receives a numbered certificate and a permanent entry in the winners archive.
