About the artist
Artist Biography
Anastasiia Davletshina, professionally known as Davleta, is a contemporary artist born in Siberia and currently based in Italy. Her artistic practice focuses on wall sculptures and three-dimensional material art, combining white cement, 24-karat gold, metals, and precious materials into a distinctive visual language.
Her artistic development did not follow a traditional academic path. Instead, it evolved from an entrepreneurial career that began in 1998 and years of independent work in jewelry design starting in 2009. This background has shaped an approach that is both technically structured and intuitively symbolic.
Since 2023, her research has explored the relationship between light, material, and value, investigating what emerges from beneath the surface: golden fractures, luminous fissures, and precious cores rising from white cement. In 2025, she developed her own relief technique, transforming her works beyond two-dimensional painting into architectural sculptural forms.
As part of her exhibition career, Davleta was selected to participate in the international group exhibition "Stati d'Arte", organized by Casa degli Artisti, taking part in both the 9th edition (2025) and the 10th edition (2026). On both occasions, her works were chosen from numerous submissions to represent her artistic research alongside artists from different countries.
Alongside her exhibition activity, she has also organized private presentations of her work during high-end events dedicated to contemporary art, collecting, and interior design.
Each artwork is entirely handmade and unique, characterized by:
strong three-dimensionality;
a balance between geometric rigor and material imperfection;
the symbolic use of 24K gold as an element of revelation;
a continuous dialogue between strength and fragility.
Her work belongs to the field of contemporary material art with a strong architectural vocation, making it particularly suitable for private collections, luxury hospitality, corporate spaces, and high-end interiors.
Artistic Style & Positioning
Davleta's artistic language can be described as Symbolic Material Minimalism.
Her surfaces are essential yet never cold. White cement evokes silence, snow, and open space, while gold introduces warmth, value, and energy. Each artwork interacts with natural light, changing throughout the day and transforming the viewer's perception of the surrounding space.
The influence of her Siberian roots is reflected in the silent monumentality of her forms and in the constant search for balance between stillness and inner tension. Rather than occupying space, her works define it.
Every piece is conceived as a unique artwork with a strong identity, far removed from serial production or purely decorative objects. Through relief, material experimentation, and the controlled use of precious materials, Davleta's work is positioned within the mid-to-high segment of the contemporary art market.
