About the artist
Charlotte Gould is a Manhattan-based multimedia artist who works primarily in photography and collage. She began her studio practice four years ago, following a career as a professional athlete, running coach, and founder of Mothers Across America. Originally trained in sculpture and painting, she went on to study photography at the International Center for Photography, and later with Janette Beckman and Silvio Wolf at the School of Visual Arts. She is currently mentored by Pulitzer Prize–winning documentary photographer Marissa Roth. Since returning to the arts and her studio practice full time, Gould’s work has already been widely exhibited across the United States and Europe.
