Portrait and Figure Art Competition
Face, body, gesture and identity. An international juried open call by Curatone.art.
About the theme
Portrait and Figure is about human presence in art. We look for work where a face, a body or a gesture says something about a person: who they are, what they carry, how they occupy space.
Any medium is welcome, from painting and drawing to photography, sculpture, mixed media and digital art. Works may be made from life, from photographs, from memory or from imagination. Classical portraiture and experimental approaches to the figure are judged side by side.
