Mosaic Refuge

Elizabeth Wood is an artist based in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Working primarily in photomontage, she uses the medium’s expressive potential to portray nuanced psychological states. Her practice centres on making the private, interior world visible, with the aim of fostering empathy and shared understanding. Wood studied visual art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and participated in the Visual Arts Program at Simon Fraser University. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in Nagoya, Japan; Los Angeles, USA; Gimpo-si, South Korea; St. Petersburg, Russia; Berlin, Germany; and Naples, Italy.
