How would you introduce yourself in one phrase: who you are and what you create (genre, style, technique)?
I am a self taught artist, with a deep love of nature, and our planet, so naturally I love painting animals. Especially critically endangered species. My style would be Scientific and Wildlife Illustration with bold vibrant colors and emotional flare to give my own unique aspect to each piece.

What is special about your technique? Why this medium?
I dont find my technique's particularly special, sorry! Probably that self taught part speaking out, however this medium is like no other because of how it dances and flows on the canvas. Spreading, blooming, dancing, often times without control. The freeness, luminosity, mingling of colors, and unexpected results are just magical to me.If someone were searching for your work on Google, what keywords do you think they would type?

Working with watercolor, Nicole Clevinger lets each artwork develop naturally on the canvas. The light, movement, and flowing nature of the medium reflect the living world she paints - fragile, strong, and always changing. Her work encourages viewers to slow down, look closely, and reconnect with the animals we share this planet with.
